Mr. Ring is a Canadian leader in the field of technology innovation and commercialization, with a focus on IT and medical technology sectors. Mr. Ring began his career with the Government for the Province of Manitoba earning increasingly senior positions before moving to the private sector.
Currently he is the CEO of the Manitoba Technology Accelerator (MTA), a private sector business incubator supported by the Government of Canada that commercializes early stage innovations. MTA is recognized as one of Canada’s top performing incubators and now responsible for exchanging medical device technologies between China and Western Canada.
Recently SkiptheDishes a company MTA helped launch 6 years ago was valued at $2 Billion.
Mr. Ring’s skill sets also include new idea development and his name is on multiple patents, and he is a nationally recognized early stage technology investor who co-founded one of Canada’s most active and successful Angel Investor groups.
Mr. Ring is often approached to be an expert speaker on technology commercialization.
